Gladys Brown
GLADYS BROWN, of Midway, was born in Edmonton and has lived in
B.C. since 1970. She is a widow with two grown children and two
grandchildren. Gladys owned a small business in Chilliwack and then
became a paramedic with the B.C. Ambulance service in Midway. Now
retired, she recently started developing an orchard of
seabuckthorn, a cherry-like fruit from Russia. Gladys is a member
of the Midway Seniors, is very active in the B.C. Seniors' Games,
and is a member of the B.C. Federation of Naturalists. Of the
Assembly, she says, "Wouldn't it be great if we found a system
everyone liked?"
